Mom had her third day hanging out at Seattle Cancer Care Alliance while they harvest her stem cells. She was a pro today and produced much more than they needed. She goes in the next three days to get her blood tested to make sure it goes back to normal after the stem cell ‘pumping’ [...]

Mom is having the stem cell harvest done today. I am praying for everything to go as smoothly as planned. And for Mon to be comfortable through the process.

Last week Mom started a long process to try to prolong her remission. The first phase is a stem cell harvest. They pump up her stem cells then harvest enough for two transfusions. This process will take most if this month. Then the transfusion should be in the fall. The first phase is not as [...]
